Representing Your Communities

The Consortium has been working in partnership with the Federation for Community Development Learning to develop an accredited course “Representing Your Communities”. LGB communities are increasingly receiving opportunities to contribute to partnerships and those who take on this role need to become skilled at working in partnerships, representing their community, and developing their knowledge of the issues involved in such engagement. It is hoped that this course will be delivered in partnership with the Consortium and with any existing local, sub-regional or regional networks.

This one day session is aimed at anyone who:

• Identifies as lesbian, gay or bisexual
• Is interested in delivering this course
• Ideally [but not essentially] already has some experience of delivering training.
• Has knowledge of community development work
