Consortium Annual Conference & AGM

Consortium's Annual Conference and AGM will be held this year at the Penthouse conference centre in central Birmingham. 

We hope this central location will enable more of our Members' to attend to conference, with the broad theme this year being "Surviving Through Austerity". 

In order to make the event more attractive, we will be focussing on the annual conference side of things, rather than the AGM. We aim to keep the AGM section of the day to 30 minutes in the afternoon. We will use some more interactive ways of reporting back to our Members, and limit resolutions to the core ones necessary for constitutional compliance to reduce the time needed for the AGM section of the day. This will leave more time for in depth conversations and workshops for Members to attend. There will of course still be time for Members to question the Board and senior staff on the work of Consortium.
